Every day we are encouraging residents to reclaim their independence and take advantage of the opportunities that we offer at Heritage of Clara Barton.
An active and social lifestyle is more important than ever in helping seniors maintain a sharp mind, remain connected to the world around them, increase feelings of happiness, and develop a sense of belonging.
Sometimes a little extra companionship can ease the transition, up the celebration, and make all the difference when it comes to recreation. At Heritage of Clara Barton, we offer just that with a personalized program that has move-in days, birthdays and holidays covered— and “just because” days, too.
You can choose from a wide variety of group activities. Everything from games to exercise classes to happy hours are offered. Our residents are encouraged to take part in activities right away. Choose two or three programs to attend early on – it’s a great way to meet your neighbors. Making acquaintances and friends can make a new residence feel like home and we always encourage our extended families to participate.
Resident Counsel, run by the residents, creates the ability for input and decision making regarding social activities, food ideas and overall functions of the building.
We are so excited to share with you that we will be permitting indoor visitation with your loved ones!
We recognize the emotional toll that separation from your family has taken on our residents and their families, and appreciate your patience during this difficult time.
Indoor and outdoor visitation can be scheduled through our Concierge at the Front Desk. If you have any questions, please contact the Executive Director.
Upon arrival, please go directly to the Concierge’s desk to sign in and to get screened. You will then be given some guidelines to follow, mandated by the CDC, during your stay.
